    Homebrew SNES9x for Old 3DS

I decided to compile lastest commit (52348ed13114bab63cdd69241f73cae42ff12255), and the issue with the boss not appearing is fixed. The problem of the crow in the animation pre-boss is still there, however this is a minor issue.

    Homebrew SNES9x for Old 3DS

I don't know if this will help, however I will try to describe the problem in Mickey to Donald - Magical Adventure 3 (Japan) (I am using a fan translation by RPGOne, btw) with more details. Below there is some screenshots from the animation that happens before the pig boss shows. The crows...

Just tried it, still can't see the boss.

    Homebrew SNES9x for Old 3DS

Disney's Magical Quest 3 starring Mickey and Donald, in the first boss "the pig" (didn't test further) he doesn't appear (you can still receive his attacks).

    Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

ctrulib has them defined, so I included in BootCtr, however I don't even know if they work or not because I don't have a New 3DS to test. However, if they work it all thanks to ctrulib.

Gaming Is the Vita's PS1 Emulator the same as the PSPs PS1 Emulator?

It is not exactly the same, however the PS1 emulator in Vita is based on the PSP one (they updated the emulator to improve compatibility and stuff, and it seems that the Vita version has access to a greater CPU speed). Why? Because the CPU of PSP (MIPS) uses the same architecture of PS1, while...

Homebrew I think downgrading may have cost me $20... (Repost, new desc.)

So everything should be ok. The games that aren't working are probably because they aren't meant to be run in firmware 9.2.0. You got Sm4sh working when you delete everything because the first version of Sm4sh is compatible with older firmwares, while the newer ones are only compatible with...

Homebrew I think downgrading may have cost me $20... (Repost, new desc.)

Your homebrew is probably still available in your NNID account, so it just be a matter of downloading it again. What it seems is that you got a partial downgrade. Can you at least access webkithax?

Homebrew [Re-release] BootCtr - A simple boot manager for 3DS

Let me just be clear of something: BootCtr9 is not made by me. It is made by @RednaxelaNnamtra. So go ask him. I am planning to write my own version of BootCtr with A9LH support, however it will be much simpler than BootCtr9 (it will be based in arm9select). Anyway, I didn't write any code yet...

Homebrew [Re-release] BootCtr - A simple boot manager for 3DS

    [GLOBAL] splash = 1 ?

Homebrew arm9select - my own take on a A9LH file select

This seems to be a good clean code to rebase BootCtr on it. Will study it more when I have more time.

Homebrew [Re-release] BootCtr - A simple boot manager for 3DS

I just add the code from ctrulib, don't know if there is a need to handle the N3DS buttons differently. Since I don't have a N3DS, I can't test either, however I am gonna investigate and see if I find something. Yep, you're right.

Homebrew [Re-release] BootCtr - A simple boot manager for 3DS

No, it isn't possible to set a image in lower screen yet. If I am planning to add? Not really. It isn't difficult per se, however I don't see a utility for it.

Homebrew ARM9Loader -- Technical Details and Discussion

I am not an exploit developer, however I did read the description of arm9loaderhax and I would say this is really impossible. All code running in home menu is running in ARM11 CPU while arm9loaderhax is running, well, in ARM9 CPU (hence the name). ARM11 shouldn't have access of ARM9 data, since...

Homebrew [Re-release] BootCtr - A simple boot manager for 3DS

@RednaxelaNnamtra one more thing. This a feature request of mine: make it possible to put arm9bootloader.bin in arm9haxloader folder (actually, this folder shouldn't be called arm9bootloader too?).

Homebrew [Re-release] BootCtr - A simple boot manager for 3DS

Well, sure. Maybe it is better to wait rx{Tools, CFW, whatever} and CakesFW to set their payload values. If all of them create a separate arm9loaderhax.bin like AuReiNand, with offset set to 0, I think this would be a better default, otherwise 0x12000 is still ok to use. Hum... This is probably...

Homebrew [Re-release] BootCtr - A simple boot manager for 3DS

@RednaxelaNnamtra, I think payload option is useless: it is used in BootCtr to force HBL/payload modes, however since BootCtr9 only supports binary payloads this is useless. The default offset in BootCtr9 should be 0. I set 0x12000 since the use-case for BootCtr9 is as a menuhax bootloader...

Homebrew [Re-release] BootCtr - A simple boot manager for 3DS

Well, in the case of BootCtr is easy: ctrulib includes support for all of them, you just need to call. In BootCtr9 it is necessary to add each code by hand, as I saw.
