Homebrew Homebrew app [Release] SimpleModDownloader, a mod downloader for your switch

Hi, same problem. I did what you indicate and nothing happened, tried several formats (zip, 7z, rar) and nothing happens. This didn’t happen with the version prior to 2.0.

About n64 online and mario party 3

I have a question about Mario Party 3. I want to unlock the secret board, but I don't know how to do it. Is there any way to use cheats or inject a .sav file or something? Some time ago, I saw someone on GBATemp post an Android app for N64 that allowed adding cheats… Thanks!!!

About the music for Tinfoil themes...

How can I add the music I want to any Tinfoil theme? They say that putting an .mp3 in the Tinfoil folder should play it, but nothing happens.

    Hacking Nintendont

Is there any way to emulate the microphone? I have an original one, but of course, the Wii U doesn't have a memory card slot... Is there a possibility to use another microphone through USB? Mario Party 7 isn't as fun without the microphone

    Hacking Nintendont

Hello, I’ll explain my question: Half of the games on my Wii U are injected GameCube games. My real hope was to play Mario Party with the family, but since it’s in vwii mode and injected, problems with the controllers start. My GameCube adapter died, so if I play with the GamePad, I only have...

Homebrew CaVE Database Manager - A SNES, NES, N64, Genesis Switch Online modding App

Why is it that when I create an NSP for Saturn, there's no sound, but the menu of Cotton has sound? I've tried with two different ROMs, and the same thing happens.

Homebrew Saturn emulation using Cotton/Guardian Force testing and debug

Using the NSP creator from Cave Database, everything works great but there's no sound, although the menu from Cotton does have sound. With the Sega Saturn NSP creator, I didn't have that issue. Any ideas?

Homebrew Homebrew app [Release] SimpleModDownloader, a mod downloader for your switch

another update: it seems that the larger mods (approximately 150 MB) are being downloaded, but I’ve noticed that they’re not getting extracted. Perhaps that’s the issue. The smaller mods, like 50 MB ones, show the window to extract the file, but the larger ones don’t. I will keep you informed.

Homebrew Homebrew app [Release] SimpleModDownloader, a mod downloader for your switch

update: I’ve tried all versions, I’m no longer sure if it’s a root problem. As an example, I tried Mario Party Superstars: I downloaded the Banjo over Mario mod, which is the first on the list, and it does appear to install. Then, I download another one, like Bowser Jr. over Birdo, which...

Homebrew Homebrew app [Release] SimpleModDownloader, a mod downloader for your switch

When you download a mod and proceed with the installation, nothing appears, as if you hadn’t downloaded anything. It was working fine at first, but not anymore. Any ideas? probably path issues (i think) edit: Deleting the mods folder from the root makes it work again, but on the second...

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
