    Nope it won't. That disc remove method is false hope i guess. Because wii is update to version 3.0 i'm unable to read setup disc now, so imo the updated failed

    Found on other forum: I did that also, and i thought the only way to check if it really is updated is to insert setup disc 1.2 to checkif it can be read again or isn't this working? If that isn't working how can i check if i really have the update installed?
