Hi, did you manage to solve this problem ? I have 2 edm 010's with exactly the same issues as yours and from what I am reading it seems like a common fault and would love to be able to solve it. I have run both through UART and they have similar codes
One gives 808B00FF Unknown (power) and...
LMAO. This gets said every year with tiger woods, and EA still manage to F$%^ it up every year. So now im waiting for 08 on the 360 or PS3 to see if we can actually play it online properly. EA sux
I still had swing away golf NTSC on my hard drive which was converted to PAL using the old GUI and didnt work. I loaded it up in this new one and i changed it to the differant pal version and burnt it. Still doesn't work Just gives the same result as last time, Shows in the menu but just black...
I can't even get the software to work LOL. It just says "unknown error occured while trying to access an unnamed file". Im using the GUI version and ive tried renaming the file to hacked.iso but still get the same error. Any ideas?
I received my 2 V2 replacements from Wiinja.com today and ive just fitted one into my own machine. I played Wario Ware for over an hour without a single DRE Needless to say im a very very happy bunny . Feels like 2 weeks of stress has just been lifted off my shoulders LOL.
see HERE for a good explanation. I dont know if the guy is right but if he is then it doesnt really matter which media or burner or software you use to a certain extent.
I spoke to the guys at futura today who have the Wiinja V2 in stock and they said that they have tested it and they are getting zero DRE's with wii's that previously gave them and also reports from their Spanish customers are also good.
Well ive just done my 3rd Wiinja and it was in a LEH103 with DMS chip. I tried Excite trucks and Zelda (the same discs that ran without a problem in the LEH105 i did the other day) And they both gave me DRE's within a minute. Dam this problem is so inconsistant.

Im convinced now it really doesnt matter what drive or media you use. I think it all depends on your Wii. It either gives DRE's or it Doesn't. It just needs someone to find out what the differance is between the ones that do and the ones that don't.
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
