My bad, anyway, I found out what the problem was, it was the cracked SXOS Boot.dat, I used a different Python script and it's working as it should now, both docked and portable modes.
Thank you
No, I will just use an RCM jig and load a payload from the computer on this new Switch. I removed the Rebug chip earlier and tried using a jig & loading a payload and I was still facing the same issue.
I guess this will tell me if there is a problem with the Switch or the Boot.dat I am using.
I am about to try another Switch I kept aside, it's literally a new Switch I have in my collection, on OFW 3.0.0, can I just make an Emunand then update it to 11.0.0? I will test on this console and see if I can reproduce the issue or not.
I tried both when docked and also in portable mode with a flash drive connected directly to the USB-C port.
Installing the XCI to the SD card is fine, the game loads and plays fine. At this point I don't know what else to check... Wondering if it's a problem with the SXOS version I have (I have...
I tried a Seagate Expansion, it's a powered HDD, I also tried a USB flash drive, they both behave the same way. Different games make the console freeze at different points.
This specific Nintendo Switch is really giving me a headache lol I removed the internal Rebug chip completely, I used an RCM jig amd loaded payloads from a computer, SX OS/Console is still freezing every time I launch a game from USB...
I did some reading last night and someone said that the internal chip is always on. I might just order an external RCM loader, desolder the 3.3v line to the chip to basically rule it out and test that way to see if XCI games load fine through USB.
This Switch will be permanently docked, so if...
I am really having a headache for the last day or so.
I am using an internal SAMD21 chip, my Switch is setup with EmuNAND for SXOS and emuMMC for Atmosphere.
The trouble I am having is loading anything from USB on SXOS, I tried using a flashdrive directly connected to the Switch USB-C port and...
I have an internal SAMD21 chip (Rebug SwitchME, 6 wire install), I ended up using Payload1.bin (SXOS) as the main payload after disabling Payload.bin (Hekate) in the chip settings. Now, my Switch autoboots to SXOS and from there I can boot to Hekate or Atmosphere directly via fastCFWswitch.
Hi, I have a dual boot setup (Atmosphere and SXOS both on hidden partition emuNANDs) but I can't seem to launch SXOS directly from Hekate anymore, it used to work just fine when I first set this up like a year ago, now, all I am getting is either a black screen or an missing Boot.dat message...
