These are my last options then...
1. Is this a legit backup or not? If not can you try looking for another copy on a different source?
2. Try to uninstall or update any game updates. Maybe the most recent update fixed it or screwed it?
Yes it does... It's inside your sdcard:/atmosphere/exefs_patches/
The folder is called "nfim_ctest"
What it does is basically patches the "connection test" of Nintendo switch so games could still connect to the internet even if there's actually no internet connection.(limited mode connection)...
Does your sigpatches have ctest folder in them? If there's none them maybe add them. If it still doesn't work with ctest then there's no way you can workaround that since it needs to connect with Nintendo servers first and as far as I know it is not possible to patch it yet.
Edit:
Well...
Sorry for the late reply. I was not able to take notice of this.
1. You should have bought a GDLink instead of an STLink. As per sthetix he has been receiving failure reports with regards to using STLink.
2. Have you tried updating your STLink programmer firmware? I encountered issues with...
Wow you are literally a god of searching for information... Been searching for different keywords in this forum and never got an answer.
So Splatoon3 & Mario Kart will get you banned huh? Well that's fine. I'm gonna use it for BlazBlu Cross Tag & Dragon Ball games so I guess it's fine :)
So...
Yeah, I get the part about Nintendo deciding to ban whatever mods we want anytime soon. I accepted that reality the moment I bought an SX gear years ago. What I just wanted to know is if running sys-modules would give you that guaranteed ban now (like installing a pirated game and playing it...
Not really. I have been booting atmosphere on sysnand while playing online for years now and haven't been banned up to now. But then I am only using a single homebrew app in it to copy my saves to emunand.
So in short, I can boot to sysnand with atmosphere enabled and launch a homebrew(nro)...
Hi guys! So I am not sure about this one hence why I am asking but is it possible to boot into SysNAND with atmosphere enabled and play legit games online while using sys-modules?
Thing is I don't pirate my switch games. But I love modding my console(installing ubuntu/android/theming HOS etc.)...
Yes for Hekate.
The offset parameter is just set in the file sdcard:/bootloader/nyx.ini
It is called timeoff=<offset value here>
As for HOS, using QuickNTP should also fix the issue.
You should also be able to fix it by manually specifying the timezone & time manually and resync it over...
Nintendo Switch has a hardware clock built in to it. Now HOS(Horizon OS) & Hekate does not alter the hardware clock when you set it or sync it over the internet. Rather it just applies an offset from the actual Clock time.
Now when you install Android or Linux on Switch it adjusts the hardware...
No idea... The guy simply asked where the leak firmware is. Since it's just in this thread then I simply pointed it to him that's just it nothing much 😁
I'm not one of these new users that provide leaks or have insider info.
For ELI5 purposes...
What @CompSciOrBust is talking about(chain loader payload) is the sdloader.enc from hwfly-nx firmware. It is inserted directly in the boot0 partition. Spacecraft-NX doesn't provide a sdloader.enc file because the firmware of the modchip writes to it instead when some...
Try to face your joycon downward on your palm and rapidly rotate the joystick clockwise & counter clockwise. It fixes the drift for a few days for me. I'm still using my OG joycon from my 2017 switch. It started drifting in 2020 and I have been doing this for 3 years now and its still working...
You ever try soaper powder/qauludes? I did once and like a dumbass drank beer on top of taking, I woke up laying in my backyard in the pouring rain, it knocked me out. I have not seen it around in many many years.
