Yeah, to claim updating mods is that easy and takes "minimal efforts" is foolish when the quickly updated mod is crashing on cutscenes or interacting with NPC's. Properly updating requires testing and making sure all works perfectly well or as close to that in all possible scenarios and THEN...

Yuzu's developers already found a fix for Vulkan not working and will release a new build with this PR included soon. The main problem that still remains is the memory leak still...
Thanks for sharing, but the memory leak is still there even on this build after testing for a bit. We'll have to wait for an announcement from Yuzu and Ryujinx's channels later when the game releases, and report logs and bugs at their Githubs in detail so they can identify what's causing these...
It runs on Yuzu with OpenGL but it will crash all the time on all emulators until Monolith releases a day 1 update to fix the memory leaks. (If they even fix this on day 1... Xenoblade 2 still suffers from memory leaks even after tons of updates)
I just played little of "Still Wakes The Deep" , just came to gamepass today, its alright, kinda creepy. I'm not usually a horror game fan, but it looks really good graphic wise, esp w 4k. I admit it made me jump a few times.
