    I used 90dns when I got my Switch 3 years ago. And I thought it was all that is needed (so not well informed I guess) and the somehow false sense of security hold me from ever trying to research more about an alternative.

    Was the game not original? A copy? Because back then in where I am from, we didn't have original ps1 games. Only copies. And the entire copies in the whole country were damaged on disc 4 lol. I bought the game like a few times from different shops hoping for a playable disc 4.

    Thank you. After discovering what was happening, and looking it up, found out that some ISP's dns bypasses 90dns. Had to manually input google's dns in my router for 90dns to work again. But I was too little too late by that time. A couple days later, I was banned.

And as it turned out, the auto acquired dns from my isp bypassed 90dns, my switch started checking for firmware updates (before it used to throw an error). Anyway, after manually specifying google's dns in my router, 90dns stso arted blocking nintendo's...

    As the title say. I got banned today when my isp screwd me over by bypassing 90dns. I haven't used my switch for the past 4 months. Not sure if using only a homebrew can get you banned. Anyway, got my switch up and running preparing to update it throught daybreak when I noticed the System update...

    Thank you very much. I've been pulling my hair for the past few days because didn't know what is wrong with these refurbished joy-cons. This fixed it for me.
