    The storyline is as solid if not more so than the originals, which is something people complain about (rightfully so) about the new games :)

    Oh man really? I loved Super Paper Mario (the Wii title) It had a great story and was really challenging and unique, the level up system was really fun too even though it was just basic points for killing enemies.

    Yeah, that part sucked but despite all that I really enjoyed the sticker system. Finding rare and unique stickers to do attacks just once was REALLY fun and rewarding. I enjoyed the stickers a lot.

    Agree! I love sticker star, although it's pretty unplayable without a walkthrough because of arbitrary things you need (like the shears to get past thwomp in the final battle), the battle system was super fun and I would love to see it become a separate series :) it could be mostly nostalgic but...

    How so? What about like, Pokemon games (Leveling up pokemon), Breath of the Wild (Trial of the sword (very good reward for that one)), and Splatoon 2 (New weapons)? Am I missing something? Are you saying they can't go back because they won't go back?
