    DSi XL by far. IPS screens and the best speakers of any Nintendo handheld. Although the standard Nintendo screen lottery applies. If you can find one with neutral colors you are set. 3DS XL with IPS screens is decent as well but I still prefer the DSi XL.

    The 3DS is pretty much built around the class 4 micro SD cards. You'll see a very minor boost going to class 10 but beyond that there is no benefit besides transferring files from your PC to the card.

    You're in the US. Avoid ebay for SD and micro SD cards. You have access to a huge amount of online and local retailers who carry cheap official cards. I like the Transcend 64gb micro sdhx on amazon at 40 but the sandisk is great too.
