I cant seem to get 60FPS working on my OLED overclocked switch. I installed everything and enabled correctly.. speed hack works but not 60fps..
Any solution? I'm running latest 3.0.0
I do agree its invalid. But tskin code does not seem to be only setting that controls the fan speed. It seems there is something else controlling it at the same time because changing the code itself does not work at all for me no matter how you try to limit/reduce the fan speeds and im still...
If you think that "tskin" code is the only thing that impacts fanspeed itself, then prove me wrong that you could reduce the fan speed by configuring it running max OC in handheld. That code are the only parameters you can configure. There are other codes out there in another system setting...
Seems to me you know nothing much bout IT stuffs and what these components and SoC can withstand.
Its totally safe so long the switch don't sustain more than 104°C+ from the SoC (indicated by Nvidia) and >70°C+ for PCB(no more than 65°C to be safest)
From what I noticed the switch is...
just checked again, it slowly goes up to max 100% in handheld with just 53~54c..
In docked, i only get 30~40%+ with 61c+
There is no solution as of now..
just when i thought there's hope to fix that crazy maxed fan speed in handheld mode with oc compared to docked mode...
I wonder if i could use/replace the same fan speed profile for docked to handheld..
It is possible found in their "PTM Services" but I don't know how switch's system coding structure works unless someone could kindly explain to me how to key it correctly into system_settings.ini

This is "nn::fan::detail::IManager".

Nothing at all. I just wish i could control the fan speeds but seems like i could only control the skin temp with "tskin_rate_table_handheld"
@ZachyCatGames could you show me a screenshot of your overlay in FULL?
Was it in handheld or docked mode?
Cause I noticed the fan speeds were higher than in docked mode.
All my SoC, pcb & skin temperature are reporting similar temp figure with the SoC.
That shows the ic graphite is doing it's job in transferring and cooling heat better than that copper sheet. The copper sheet should never be placed in between the SoC and heatpipe as it reduces the heat transferability due to increased in thickness between the heatpipe and SoC. You want the...
Mind you my phone runs ~50c too in games and tegra x1 can handle 104c max with throttling from 70c.
This is still nowhere near from damaging it and i noticed it also usually idles at 20% with just ~40c and that's just waste of my battery.
My switch's fan speed runs at 90% speed with just ~53-54c on my SoC(seen from tesla overlay) in handheld with all clks maxed out and thats just too aggressive and ridiculous to me of how nintendo has implemented the fan speed settings to cool itself.
I had been searching for solutions but no...
I have used liquid metal(conductonaut) on my switch and it runs ~53c-54c with all maxed clk with ambient ~30c
Im disappointed with that aggressive fan speed profile setting that nintendo has placed into it's system as the fan runs 90% with just 53c s(from tesla overlay) and that 20%+ fan speed...
Anyone's switch battery died while using sys-clk?
This is the 3rd time my battery died again.
I've been using the right charger and it's not discharging my battery while charging with sys-clk on.
I've tried lowering the overclock speed still no avail.
I can't figure out what's the main problem...
