Just dropping a quick line to say that this app is great and I really appreciate you putting the effort in! Solves a lot of the issues with the other implementations of streaming so far and this is the first one i've seen to get sound spot on my network. No cut-outs whatsoever.
I've found what...
Me too, very much so!
As far as I know the reason why it's not viable on switch natively because we don't have access to to video decoding through Horizon.
Hello everyone!
To cut a long story short I'm looking to see if there are any game streaming solutions that I have missed for the Switch, I've tried a few and they are all *almost* there but there are niggling things keeping it from being the perfect expereince.
So far I've tried:
In Home...
Yeah but then you wouldn't be running Fallout 4 through the switches version of Skyrim you would have literally just ported Fallout 4 to the Switch. Which if anyone is reading this and wants to do it I would 100% spend 100 hours playing that.
I can see where the logic behind your idea comes from but it is literally not possible.
I think the best place to start would be that both games don't run in the exact same engine, the base may be the same but various tweaks will have been made to accommodate the creation of Fallout.
It's...
Yeah I'm very much waiting for Android! L4T and Lakka are both really cool but from a purely selfish point of view android would be ideal.
My Nvidia shield tablet died a couple of months ago and I really miss a lot of its features, using my switch as one as well as well, a switch, would be the...
Really appreciate the quick reponse - CFW it is then! Not too fussed about saves or anything else.
I think Gateway is still installed on the device, do I need to uninstall this first before installing or is overwriting fine?
Helo everyone!
I have recently found my old Nintendo 3DS locked away in my mums loft. It is currently on firmware version 4.5.0 and has a Gateway cart with it. I haven't messed about with 3DS CFW for years and I know Luma 3DS is a thing.
Is it better to just update my Gateway FW or shall I...
From the research I've done - nope! Not yet anyway, Moonlight doesn't yet have a libretro core so we are at the mercy of someone with far more C knowledge than I do to convert embedded to one.
There's a bounty for it though, if anyone is interested. (to either donate or create)...
Does moonlight embedded have a libretro core yet? I haven't heard anything but then again I haven't checked for a long while.
Pretty much all I need on top of this to complete my Switch experience at this point.
EDIT: Great work by the way! Switch scene is by far the best around.
Still getting this even after switching SD card.
Error is "Error resizing filesystem on /dev/mmcblk0p2: Process recorded exit code 1:resize2fs 1.44.1
resize2fs: Permission denied to resize filesystem (udsisks-error-quark, 0)
EDIT: Problem does not persist in 1.1 - could possible be one of the...
Strangely i can't seem to resize my parition in linux ater upgrading to 1.2, i've just done a fresh install and that's usually part of my initial setup. I've got errors when doing it the last 3 times and then L4T fails to boot after doing it each time.
Is this a known bug? searched for it in...
Having alot of issues with what I believe are the graphics drivers?
Sometimes after a reboot I can get to the login screen but logging in just boots me straight back to the log in screen, google seems to suggest that this is a graphics driver error, is it worth attempting to update the drivers...
I know.
But he was saying that he could not find the first partition. Which, like i said, comes up as a normal folder structure when the SD card is inserted. I added the burn bit in just in case he didn't do it. No point him searching for it if he just copied the img to a memory stick.
You need to use a program to mount the downloaded image to your SD card, I use etch.
Once you have done so inserting your SD card into the PC will bring up a folder structure as normal, this is your first parition.
I've been trying pretty much since this came out and haven't been able to get qt to work, think some people have managed to get embedded to work but I haven't tried yet.
Been messing about with it all day trying to get a few different thinks to work just to see what it can and can't do; managed to get everything for Flatpak installed but none of the apps seem to work. This may well be an ARM issue im not sure.
Yeah looks like it's not possible; seems at this time no snaps are supported, I've tried a few and none of them will work get the same error everytime. From a bit of research it seems that this is due to the custom kernel using a filesystem that snap doesn't seem to want to play with. Don't know...
Managed to break it attempting to install moonlight. Was probably something I did to be honest my linux skills are non-exsistent.
Tried to install it from the repo provided by moonlight got a "cant install snap store cant support snapd/ linux can't mount image squashfs image using squashfs...
