+1
I've made a simple test with replacing the title menu image and the structure is the following:
/atmosphere/contents/010021C000B6A000/romfs/resources/gfx/ui/main menu/titlemenu_nx.pcx
romfs_metadata.bin gets created but the title is not replaced...
Have I done something wrong?

I still think an External Item Description mod is a must-have for the Switch version. Any progress or leads on that?
Also, is there a reason why LUA-based mods are not working on Switch while some for Baldur's Gate are?
Alright, I'm back. Time for some tests.
One thing I didn't realise is that the joycons don't work :/
I've ran the following command:
sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-joystick
and then paired them but nothing. Any clue on what to do?
(ping @Torina )
Now I'm intrigued. I'll have a look when I'm back from hols.
But before, my goal is still to have Fallout running a smooth as possible on the Switch :)
Got the smb working :)
Here's my command:
qemu-system-x86_64 -hda W98.img -boot c -cdrom /home/dotmick/Desktop/Windows 98 Se Fr Bootable.iso -m 512 -soundhw sb16 -display sdl -netdev user,id=n0,smb=/mnt/windows/ -device ne2k_pci,netdev=n0
I had to choose ne2k_pci as the model.
It is indeed. But it is not illegal. It's a grey area, but not illegal.
While with warez, there's no grey area, it is completely and known for being illegal.
For now the standard version, I'll optimize later.
Regarding the network, I've tried multiple commands, but I've still got no network in W98. The last one:
qemu-system-x86_64 -hda W98.img -boot c -cdrom /home/dotmick/Desktop/Windows 98 Se Fr Bootable.iso -m 512 -soundhw sb16 -display sdl...
Just brilliant, thanks!
I've got Win98 working with the new graphic drivers. Bonus, I'm trying to have the network working to setup a smb folder but without any luck for now...
I'll keep you posted of my progress!
Great work! I am too interested in your step-by-step tutorial, ignore the ones that don't care :)
I've got a clean install of L4T Ubuntu, what should I do now?
Pretty sure you're having your video driver set on Vulkan with a core that doesn't support it
auto
The patch should be applied before compilation right?
Thanks @Gavin_Darkglider
So I've followed your instructions and this is what I've got:
dotmick@dotmick-VirtualBox:~/kernel$ ./l4t_kernel_prep.sh aarch64-linux-gnu-

Only thing drive me crazy is all these new horror games nowadays is its so dark, all time. I can't even play them. I understand they trying to create spooky but be creative a little, not just darkness with pop out scare scenes.
