Dunno if you still need help but I was in the exact same situation: bought a refurbished AGS-101 GBA SP and the original battery from Nintendo only lasted 1h30 with an original game. Bought a new one (the same as your link above but in 850mAh capacity) and it lasted 3h....
Finally found a very...
15hrs with Duracell 2500mAh AND Omega?? Wow, as soon as I receive my AGB-101, I will try my Duracell 2500mAh as well (I have the same ones). That's great, as I only get 4hrs with my GBA Micro until it completely turns off, with a fresh new battery.
That's simply amazing, thanks. :)
This way, no need to have a Photoshop license anymore (I used the trial that is now expired...) and it's more convenient to use a very light dedicated tool as well, thanks. :)
EDIT: I can't test it anymore as I returned my Omega but I just saw that it gives...
After a few weeks of use, I have to say that I've started experiencing some freezes since a few days. It first started with one freeze, then a few ones the day after then a lot in the same day. It's the kind of freezes that may be due to poor contact between the Omega cart and GBA console and it...
Another question: what if my gba rom only contains '01-' as the game id (or does not have any)? Is there a way to hack GBA roms to add a game serial without breaking the file structure? I can't find any tools that allow this, they only allow to view these data.
Hello,
I wanted to write a very short and easy tuto to allow people to make their own thumbnails for their homebrew games/demos to use with the EZ-Flash Omega firmware. As the steps are very specific, I thought it deserves a quick guide about how to do it guys.
Thanks to kuwanger and EZ-Flash2...
I won't try to flip it and shift it (moreover there is this shifted image thing as well) as it's not a clean way to do it. :)
After some search, it appears to be Windows OS/2 Bitmap V3 UNCOMPRESSED, a very old format introduced in Windows 3.x.
I used this online tool to have those details...
Thanks for that but I can't get some good results even when exporting in 16bit R5 G6 B5, even with X1 R5 G5 B5.
Here is the best I can get:
It appears reversed (horizontaly and vertically) and shifted but is fine from a PC as you can guess. Colors seem fine though.
I tried all those...
I have no idea how to exchange R and B in GIMP although I tried a few things. I found a tuto but very unclear to me. Not sure if it helps (it's in French, sorry for that):

Downloaded ImageMagick too, but can't find the editor .exe (I'm under...
Yeah, some blue tint appears when viewing from a PC. I looked a few of them, they are all like this one. I'll try with a trial version of Photoshop then, unless EZ-Flash2 can help me on that. :)
