Yeah, once you've set up your controller start a game and then hit the "-" button and it should bring up a small menu, go to configure controls, then toggle controls, and then just toggle everything off. That should remove the on screen overlay.
When Dolphin is open just touch the little icon that looks like a photo and then change the video backend, it should be the very first setting you see. :)
Use Vulkan for now. OpenGL isn't working on Dolphin on LineageOS. It's already been mentioned in the Dev's discord a number of times so I'm sure it will get worked out eventually.
I'm wondering though.... We were able to patch out the YouTube app to where it doesn't check Nintendo's servers and it will just directly connect to YouTube. You would think with games like fortnight, pso2, etc (games that don't require a paid Nintendo subscription) that it would be possible to...
No, not right now. Mesa is being worked on currently by Armada. It will all come in due time after that is finished. It's the same reason we don't have N64 yet. We need those graphics drivers. Soon™
Maybe? But I don't really know how SX OS works because I dont have it, so maybe not. You could try your cart to see if it asks you to update your system while in SX OS, if it doesn't you might not even have to update. But if you do have to update your system it doesnt really matter because you...
Yeah for some reason I was thinking that SX OS was burning the fuses itself and then remembered/realized its because of not booting with hekate. Derp on my part. Corrected myself quick hahaha
3.0.0 - 3.0.2 should just be 4. Don't know what the others are exactly but I know that's 3.0.0 because it's what I have and I jumped from 3.0.0 to 5.1.0 using the nose fuse burn method. Not to mention fuses only blow on Major firmware updates.
If you mean dumping your own games and running them online without the carts you might be okay but there's still risk involved. If you mean something like dumping your friends game and then playing online you're running a high risk of getting that ban hammer, maybe even for the both of you.
If those checks were patched out and you went online it would definitely result in a ban. It would have to be offline only. They log what you play when you're online and they will see that there was no cert auth with their servers with the title that was launched. And as for going online later...
One would think you would be okay but we don't really know yet. I'm sure someone is going to try it in the future and we will have our answer there. I would just play it safe till then.
There are definitely going to be some people who try and go online with their hacked console. There is always someone. And Nintendo's reaction is going to be...
I was asked to leave a casino in Vegas years ago, because somebody asked me for change for $20 and I made change for them. The casino claimed it was against they're rules and I had to leave. I feel Karma got them back cause the casino was torn down couple years ago.
