    I had the same issue. Either install to NAND or use a usb flash drive. My HDD would not play games installed onto the HDD. Possibly cuts power during the cycle to VWii mode. You can try external power.

    The gain in read/write speed is not worth the extra hassle and risk. More dat lines = more possible failure points. Also it really doesn't take that long to read/write with only dat0. Should be 10-20 minutes.

    That's right. You only need to apply heat for a few seconds. You're applying too much heat to the pads.

    Which reader are you using? Use Anker. For me only the 4 slot Anler worked.

    I suspect your franken sd to be an issue or your sd reader.

    Your CMD and CLk solders look dry. Try to redo them. Also try the Anker 4 slot reader. It's the only one which worked for me and I soldered directly into the reader rather than using a franken-sd card.

    Bad soldering. Show us some pictures of the soldering and the soldering in your sd adapter. Also which sd reader are you using?

    No, any sd reader will trigger a blue screen. But different chipsets will have different error codes and only specific chipsets can correctly interface with the nand.
