Thank you. The difference is night and day! This corrected the issue. The TV screen unfortunately displays the same resolution as the gamepad. I might bite the bullet and try a LAN adapter, given that they're cheap enough! I cannot believe that I now have the ability to be streaming my PC...- Giamon

Bingo! A Plus Ric was on the money. As opposed to using 'Retroarch' from HBL to launch the emulator, instead, I used Snes9x and loaded multiple games / other cores without any hiccups. Thanks mate - the download link worked. Unfortunately, I'm still receiving a dsi error on the second boot of retroarch, but only when launching a rom. I'm receiving the same system error as ShadowOne333 with the 25.05 nightly build. Reverting back to a previous build corrects the issue. I've just noticed that a more recent build has become available. I'll try this with my Haxchi set up and see if I'm still having issues. Update: No dice...- Giamon
