its completely possible to import sm64ds models into sm64 actually, and ive done it for the star model. its just that nobody really tries, plus distributing might be a legal issue since its distributing nintendos assets in the patch (the sm64ds models)- Nyako

Unpopular Opinions Time
Super Mario Galaxy's plot actually exists, while Super Mario Galaxy 2's doesn't. Meaning, SMG is better for the plot and SMG 2 is better for the gameplay. Super Mario Odyssey barely has a plot. (This is why I was kind of hoping for Super Mario Galaxy 3 or something)- Nyako
