    I downloaded the update with WiiUUsbHelper and it worked fine. Downloading through the WiiU should work fine from what I know, but the only method I can personally vouch for is using the helper.

    1) Just an error 2) I believe so with the eShop version (which this one is). AFAIK a disk version would work without CFW (though I'm not positive). 3) AFAIK no, but I'm just quoting what I've seen elsewhere about this. No real personal knowledge.     I'm sorry but which 7z file? I downloaded the 4.1.0 release from github, put the sdroot stuff in the root of my SD and the flashcardroot stuff in the root of my flashcard, as well as the files from the R4i RTS pack. Maybe I'm being dense but I don't see what other files I'd need?
