Just wanted to quickly say that the thread screenshots have been updated to show off some new environments and areas! Here's a quick preview of some of them:

[bug] Thread keeps splitting spoiler tags when edited

Yep, it's correct now. I'll keep the BBCode tip in mind for the future. Thanks for getting back to me, and apologies for responding so late.

ROM Hack Super Mario Bros. Next - A NSMB2 Mod

Hey everyone, I've added SMBNext: The Lost Levels to the thread now. It's a two-part mod (10 worlds total) that consists of unused and early-development stages over the years. In addition to this, you can grab SMBNext: The Lost Levels Sound Selection as well from the same download page. It's...

[bug] Thread keeps splitting spoiler tags when edited

Hey, not sure if this is the right sub-forum to put this in, but I'm having trouble with a thread I have edit access on. If I edit anything in the thread and then save (even if it doesn't involve the spoiler area at all), the only spoiler in the entire thread splits into two, for no discernible...

ROM Hack Super Mario Bros. Next - A NSMB2 Mod

Halloween DX is completely different from the original one; all stages have been redesigned from scratch. There is a soundtrack release for Halloween DX, which can be found here on Bandcamp. Sunset Shores is a separate beach-themed mini-mod. Also, wanted to mention in general that I've updated...

GBAtemp Exclusive Nintendo's Paid Online: a yearly checkup/opinion piece

Dunno if a whole lot of people realize this, but the whole "p2p vs dedicated servers" argument doesn't necessarily hold true for every game. Dedicated servers can definitely improve the online experience for certain games, but for more competitive games such as Smash Ultimate, you would get much...

    PSA: Brickers Abound

gonna have to put up some wii memorials for this one really though, as serious as these malware shenanigans are, the way this post is written sounds like a textbook villain of a movie/video game, it's almost hilarious.

SMBNext will release eventually, the team is still hard at work creating a polished gameplay experience.

ROM Hack Super Mario Bros. Next - A NSMB2 Mod

You need a CIA that you've dumped yourself (from a legal copy of the game), and NOT one downloaded from the internet.

Read the thread again. There is an "Install Guide" section that tells you how to set each mod up, and has downloads links.

A Hat in Time jumps onto the Nintendo Switch this October

Ah well. Best you can hope is that the extra DLC comes to PS4/Xbox.

What if I told you that the DLC added more achievements on Steam?

A Hat in Time jumps onto the Nintendo Switch this October

Hat in Time's DLC though adds: - Two new chapters - Six new time rifts - Death Wish Mode - Online Party - Stickers One chapter, Death Wish, and five of the six time rifts are available on the Switch, making it the second best platform for A Hat in Time, as of right now.

A Hat in Time jumps onto the Nintendo Switch this October

No. The PS4 version hasn't been updated since launch, and is still missing any kind of DLC. The best platform to play A Hat in Time on is PC, followed up by Nintendo Switch, as it has the first DLC available. (And it's portable, of course)

Hacking Nintendo Switch Banning Hub & Warning

I mean, the only thing we really have to go off is Nintendo's online support pages, where the error code for trying to update software is labeled as a "temporary ban" for violating the code of conduct, while the main error code's page just hints to it being "temporarily unavailable" due to...

They're probably handing out temporary bans regardless of the offense I suppose, but I dunno how long they are.
