Did you do any modifications to the NAND or anything?

Homebrew Wii U Firmware Update 5.5.5 released

I thought I read on here, back when 5.5.4 was released, that it patched the browser exploit. I guess that was wrong since now I am reading that all exploits still work on 5.5.4 and 5.5.5.

Hardware New 3DS XL or New 2DS XL?

Cool. I am assuming you have or had an original 3DS since you have Boot9Strap/Luma on your New 2DS XL and I know that requires a system transfer from an already hacked system.

Hardware New 3DS XL or New 2DS XL?

Are you saying you own an original 2DS or you own the 3DS XL?

Hardware New 3DS XL or New 2DS XL?

I was going to buy a New 3DS XL when it goes on sale but now that they have the New 2DS XL I am considering buying that instead. I know the SD card slot is much more accessible on the New 2DS XL but what I am really wondering about is the 3D. Those of you that owned an original 3DS and now own a...

Hacking Just got my ebay refurbed Wii U

That is an excellent idea. I wish I had thought of that. Just buy Color Splash and then return it.

    Hacking Haxchi or redNAND?

Thanks for the excellent information! Another question that I have though is, I understand the advantage of Haxchi is that you no longer need to use the browser exploit but are there any other advantages to Haxchi?

    Hacking Haxchi or redNAND?

I see, so if I were to install Haxchi would you recommend backing up the NAND by means of redNAND or some other means? I guess I am just used to the original Wii where you could back up the NAND and restore it if needed.

    Hacking Haxchi or redNAND?

@LH1980 How about creating your own thread. It is considered rude to hijack a thread.

    Hacking Haxchi or redNAND?

Well I guess I am ignorant then. I apparently did not do enough reading about them. Okay, so Haxchi is what I should go with over Mocha & redNAND. I did not realize you could use redNANd with Haxchi. With Haxchi do I need to backup my NAND? Also what is the minimum size SD card that I should use...

    Hacking Haxchi or redNAND?

I have not turned on my Wii U since the 5.5.2 update and I have the DNS setup to block updates. Should I install Haxchi or redNAND? Based on info in other threads it sounds like redNAND is the way to go now because of 5.5.2. Also I have a 128GB SD card but should I buy a 64GB SD card for...

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

Okay so I will do my best to provide instructions to how to do it in this post but let me say you need time and patience. Also I had prior experience rebuilding a PS2 DVD9 iso. This was done using a USA iso so I am not sure if it is different for a Europe iso. What you will need: 1. Apache 2...

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

Yes, I made a working DVD9 Undub and I tested it on my CFW PS3. I only checked out the first minute or so after starting a new game but since it is based off the DVD5 Undub all should be fine. I could potentially provide a simplified overview of the tools and steps but that will be in another...

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

It was very time consuming but I completed it. The DVD5 Undub was surprisingly not compressed so I was able to use it to help me in building the DVD9 Undub.

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

I just wanted to provide an update. I found some information on another forum from a post in 2007 that described extracting the .dat files. After doing more internet searching I found the program xpert 2.0 but it did not have the plugin necessary to extract Rogue Galaxy. I did some more...

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

I was thinking the subtitles were integrated into the movie files. That is good to know that I may be able to just replace the movie files with the Japanese ones. I will try that tonight. Thanks Cyan! P.S. If the subtitles are hardcoded I have no idea how to demux an mvi file.

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

I have run into a snag. The movie files on the Rogue Galaxy iso are .mvi format. I don't know how to extract the audio from them or perhaps I would need to convert them. Does anyone know?

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

I see... well I will look into it because I have instructions provided by the person who did the undub for Xenosaga Episode I. So with that information, even though the game is different, I may be able to figure it out.

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

Thanks for editing my post instead of deleting it. They did compress the videos but apparently it still would not fit on a single layer so they had to remove the end credits. Even though I can watch the end credits on youtube I still want a complete uncompressed DVD9 undub. I read there were two...

    Gaming Rogue Galaxy Undub DVD9

Hi, I found an undub of Rogue Galaxy that was changed into a DVD5 (Single Layer) but has the end credits removed. I have been looking for a DVD9 (Dual Layer) undub iso but no luck so far. If I had the knowledge I would rebuild it as a DVD9 iso myself. It is a long shot but does anyone have...
