I love this idea! Especially since I bought an extra dock for the bedroom. Wouldn't it be possible to extend the microswitch button on the trinket to just above the usb ports? Like desolder it and relocate it so it is accessible from the dock on the left side?
This is only for the standard capacity battery, the official extended battery is twice the physical size and orientated sideways. It was well worth the $35 I paid almost a year ago. On average, I got about 6-7 hours from this battery. Unfortunately, it is no longer offered on the nintendo store...
just chiming in to say I also had a seagate firecuda sshd die within 2 weeks of usage, after a kernel panic trying to run hen. it completely died, i tried to remove it and could not get seatools or diskmgnmt to recognize it. it wouldn't even spin. i even tried throwing it on the ground a couple...
There was a mention on twitter, back in May, that their console was still on 5.05 before mirahen came out. So it's actually possible, but haven't heard anything since then.
that's really the safest way, Hayato213. The first hdd i swapped to was the FireCuda SSHD 2TB. Only a couple hen payload system crashes later, and the whole drive was R.I.P. I couldn't even get it to appear in diskmanagement, diskpart, or any seatools like app. i guess the flash memory portion...
that's why i suggested the method above. converting your legit psn apps to fpkg first will add unnecessary steps and hassle. i think the warning you see on screen about transferring saves has to do with backing up one ps4 and restoring to another console.
although, if you have the extra space...
when i changed internal drives 1tb to 2tb, i checked every box (games/saves/ect) and backed up everything just fine.
just do this:
but you don't any kit, just a usb enclosure, usb cable (y-cable if unpowered), replacement drive, and the recovery fw PS4UPDATE.PUP (the larger update file renamed...
you can turn on all four of the licenses in the debug settings, then you can play 3d blurays and watch them with the PSVR.
but without previously activating the media player app or littlstar when it was possible, you're out of luck sideloading 3d video files.
well damn, at least i finally got most of the stuff i wanted backed up. i was about to put up a few more things myself, guess i'll save the bandwidth for a rainy day:wacko:
As far as i can remember, there really is no seal or tape on the switch box. so as long as the store took it back "as new, Unopened" really no way to tell the difference.
it was at least 4.7, maybe 4.73. it came with my psvr. i sold the disc because i couldn't play it on 4.55
i tried one of those spoofer payloads, the one that said it was a update blocker+hen+spoofer. the only thing it did was to spoof the fw in settings. every app/game i tried to start asked me...
there is a way to get stuff from psn store by using a pc web browser. i did this to add the Littlstar app to my cart, then dug around to find the download link. Even got the app to install on my ps4, but it needed to connect to PSN to open. Kinda the same thing going on with the media player...
dude, if you are on a fw that can access debug settings (i.e. /1.76?/4.05/4.55), just run the hen payload and go to settings>debug>license activation>turn each license to "on"
exit out and enjoy watching a bluray (obvis. not 4kbluray) on your ps4.
i even used this method to watch a 3-d bluray on...
if you set your dns to manual and use 108.61.128.158
or 165.227.83.145 in your connection settings, you'll get a error message anytime your system tries to call psn.
but you might want to ftp and delete your update after you setup a dns, then run the blocker again
I've owned both iPhone and Androids over the years. Both are just as good, other than Apples higher price. I'm currently on Android, Samsung S21 I think, and very happy with it.
