Hacking Some (noob) questions about using 9.2 firmware

Thanks! :) So using HANS on 9.2 with the eShop still works? I had some problems here and there with it recently. I think I won't use it that much, but still, missing out on the eShop is not that nice for me. Can't wait to downgrade and I hope I will understand terms like SysNAND and so on that...

Hacking Some (noob) questions about using 9.2 firmware

Hello! I was not really active in the Homebrew scene lately and one thing I heard that you can downgrade with any 3DS possible to 9.2. Since I have a New 3DS XL I'm waiting for a more safely method to do so. However, I still have some questions about 9.2: - Can you access the eShop and other...

Homebrew Masher's Homebrew Launcher Mod Custom Themes Thread

I did three new versions for the top screen image: 1) the white pseudo panel is cut of on the right (there's also a small gap at the bottom but you can't see it because of the BG) 2) a more transparent panal 3) no panel Just download one of them and rename it to wallpapertop.png :)

Homebrew [Release] Homebrew Launcher with grid layout

Maybe you could add an option in the theme settings for a background behind the arrows? So it could work like a panel but you just can't move it. -> Would be great for themes where you can't really see the arrows and it looks quite good as well :) But of course it's up to you and you can...

And I just updated the launcher within a few seconds! Thank you again so much for all your amazing work! While setting the colors for my theme, I just noticed that the "Top screen panel edge offset" does not give you a preview when you change it (anymore?). Would it be possible to change the...

    ROM Hack [Release] RomFS Builder

For some reason, this application doesn't work anymore for me. When saving the rom, it is stuck. When I tried it yesterday with MK7 CTGP, everything worked fine and I could save the rom. I tried to download it again and used the original MK7, as well as a A Link Between Worlds unpacked rom. I...

ROM Hack How do I hax my MK7 rom, then use with hans

The size of my MK7 romfs.bin file is just 602 megabyte. After dumping there's also another file called exefs.bin, which is much smaller (3,50 mb for me). I don't know what this is used for. So the dumping itself was done quite quickly.. however: If you have a New 3DS, you should work on your ROM...

What if you could create a custom border around the icons? For example that the background consists of wood like in this 3DS theme: Sometimes I like these playful graphics :)

I noticed that the friend list, web browser and Miiverse (+ game notes and notifications) are missing. Would it possible to implement these? I think these applications are quite useful. Anyways, thank you for your amazing work! ;)
