ROM Hack [Release] Kuriimu - A general purpose game translation toolkit for authors of fan translations.

Right-click the root folder and use the "Add" option. If it's greyed out or not visible, then the format does not support adding new folders and/or files.

ROM Hack [Release] Kuriimu - A general purpose game translation toolkit for authors of fan translations.

ROM Hack [Release] Kuriimu - A general purpose game translation toolkit for authors of fan translations.

The only fixed format supported to export text from Kuriimu is an XML variant. This is done to preserve as much information as possible from various text formats and make them potentially compatible with other CAT tools. If you want the text in different formats, you have to parse the XML and...

Normally the same program that decoded it to png, can encode it back to stex again.

ROM Hack [Release] Kuriimu - A general purpose game translation toolkit for authors of fan translations.

If the program can open stex files, then it may be possible to inject a png into it.

This program was never targeted towards MacOs. Therefore, no official ways to execute it on MacOs exist.

    ROM Hack [Translation] Time Travelers

We knew this translation for a long time. It's not a 100% translation, as they only play through the story and don't show all the text and routes. They also aren't as accurate as we like them to be. So we decided not to use it.

    Homebrew [Realease]Card1 <-> Card2 Converter

I'm not sure if you just confuse what card1 and card2 means. card1 means that the game stores the save file outside the ROM. However, where that is depends on how you execute the ROM. For Gateway3DS (as written in the OP) it seems to write the save file to the flashcard itself temporarily, and...

Please create an issue for that on our github here: https://github.com/FanTranslatorsInternational/Kuriimu2/issues That helps us keep track of such problems, so we can solve them later.

ROM Hack [Release] Kuriimu - A general purpose game translation toolkit for authors of fan translations.

It should output in the same directory as the files are located in, just with a new extension. If they aren't there, you might not have privileges, just like the other tools tell you.

ROM Hack [Release] Kuriimu - A general purpose game translation toolkit for authors of fan translations.

You can still use Kuriimu for MSBT, if you want to. The only alternative to MSBT editing I know, is an even older tool than Kuriimu, that might have less support for the format. It can be found here: https://github.com/IcySon55/3DLandMSBTeditor The author is IcySon55, the one who also started...

ROM Hack [Release] Kuriimu - A general purpose game translation toolkit for authors of fan translations.

As you can read at the top of the original post, Kuriimu is discontinued and replaced by Kuriimu2. If your question was meant for Kuriimu2, it is currently not being worked on, but also not deprecated. It works as intended and most plugins work as intended as well. However, there are currently...

ROM Hack [Release] Kuriimu - A general purpose game translation toolkit for authors of fan translations.

First Kuriimu2 needs its text UI, which is currently not finalized. It also has to be implemented in the "imgui"-Branch only. Afterwards, the LMD plugin has to be ported into the new plugin architecture of Kuriimu2. If you know any C#/.NET, you're welcome to tackle those yourself until we have...

    ROM Hack [Translation] Time Travelers

We know of the "full" story translation, but very early on decided not to use it, since it didn't contain all of the story, not even scratching the menu stuff like tips. We would also have to match the style of writing and translation for consistency with what was left to be translated. As...

    ROM Hack [Translation] Time Travelers

I wouldn't say active, but still not forgotten. I'm unsure when I'm able to get back to working on it. So it's currently frozen.

Can anyone help my custom English graphics keep crashing this my game?

@Kwyjor This question was now asked on the Fan Translators International discord server, and was now linked to this thread. The program that extracts and re-imports the image from/to bflim is Kukkii. It's a program me and @IcySon55 developed from 2017- ~ 2019 and discontinued in favor of a newer...
