    Http support?

Just noticed that http is no longer working, and gbatemp is now enforcing https - is that wanted, or did it happen by mistake? Https has it's advantages, but personally, I would prefer to be kept allowed to use http as well.

    AMT630A devkit & firmware disassembly

Here's my latest reverse-engineering stunt: Fairly complete specs for the undocumented AMT630A hardware registers, a firmware disassembly including patches for dimming the painfully bright backlight and for unlocking support for C64 video signals, a working AMT630A emulator/debugger for windows...

    Homebrew DSi Regions?

Bringing up an old question: What are the DSi regions? I had originally asked that on http://ngemu.com/threads/dsi-regions.166777/ three years ago, and so far three regions have been identified, and another three regions are "known to exist" but without knowing which countries/languages they are...

    Homebrew DSi Wifi support anybody?

Some people recently mentioned that homebrew DSi Wifi "does't work" yet. Actually, it's more like this: Old DS wifi, with max 2Mbit/s, and with older encryption standards * Old DS wifi on older DSi models is already working perfectly (eg. with "dslink" for wifi uploads from PC to DSi). * Old DS...

Homebrew DSi Directory Trees from original firmware dumps (preservation)

Now that more people are hacking their DSi's, it would be nice if people could start preservation efforts, ie. making backups of their original firmware before hacking the console. Having the backup would be a good idea for being able to unbrick the console if something goes wrong. And for...

    Updated my gba/nds/dsi emulator/debugger: http://problemkaputt.de/gba.htm It's just a bunch of small details/bugfixes. The sd/mmc/i2c related ones might be useful for developing & testing new DSi exploits. 23 Jul 2017 - version 2.8f - nds/3d/help: note on MTX_PUSH/POP/STORE/RESTORE in Mode1...

    Homebrew no$gba v2.8e released - 11 Feb 2017

Time to uninstall your wanna-be virus scanners: http://problemkaputt.de/gba.htm ; ) Major news is heavily extended documentation - including for some first specs on the TeakLiteII processor. The built-in assembler does now support both Xtensa (Wifi) and Teak (DSP) assembler source code, so it's...

Homebrew dswifi ASM port, and bugs in dswifi HLL version

Here's the dswifi librbary ported to ASM code. I've been busy on that project for the past five weeks, and just finished the port yesterday, it's still untested, still lacks some basic subfunctions (like memcopy), and I've probably screwed up a lot of things and the code is probably still...

    Homebrew no$gba v2.8d released - 26 May 2016

Another update, no$gba v2.8d... This version supports DSi games and system files with unencrypted "rsa" signatures (done by hooking the rsa bios functions). This should be very useful for developing & testing DSi stuff without knowing Nintendo's private key. And, SD Cards are now emulated...

    Homebrew DSi: What is banner.sav?

There's a banner.sav flag in DSi cartridge header entry [1BCh], it's mentioned on http://dsibrew.org/wiki/DSi_Cartridge_Header since May 2011, but I've never found any info what the flag is doing, or if it's actually known to be used by any existing games. My theory would be that the banner.sav...

Homebrew DSi Reverse Engineering: SD/MMC/SDIO Registers

Just created a wiki page with currently known info about the DSi's SD/MMC/SDIO Host controller: http://dsibrew.org/wiki/SD/MMC/SDIO_Registers EDIT: The wiki page is now outdated, see http://problemkaputt.de/gbatek.htm#dsisdmmcprotocolandioports for newer specs. If somebody knows more about...
