Hacking xk3y Remote (1st Gen) Middle Button Issue
In fact, I opened it up. The push-on button is indeed broken, somehow. So I just put on a coil of wires instead of the original "spring". It works pretty well now, even without the nice "bouncy" effect. At least for now, good enough for me ;)- aadrian83

DinohScene: thanks. this remote is brand new tho. Most people will simply say "contact the seller/re-seller" but this is out of warranty. The button seems to work fine, mechanically. Not electrically obviously. Did some searches but seems like it's not a common issue, and I may have got one with...- aadrian83

Hi All, Summary: setup is ok, xk3y works fine, but the middle button of my xk3y remote doesn't seem to work. Navigation buttons are ok, but not the middle button. Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
