Hacking -4 Error With HaxChi+Coldboot Installer

So long story short; I've been using Coldboothax with RedNAND for a bit. Turns out my 64GB SD card decided to shit the bed, so my console was rendered useless, or so I thought. Then I remembered I had an old 8GB microSD lying around. Formatted it to FAT32, and figured I would just set up CFW...

Homebrew Host Sliderhax Locally for Browserhax?

I have an idea, that may just be stupid enough to work. Would it be possible to mirror the sites used for Browserhax on a local network, disconnect the actual internet from your router, and navigate to the local web page on the 3DS browser? My thoughts for this working is that the WLAN...

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

Not entirely. Take Palantine for example. It uses an emuNAND (RedNAND) to install CIA's to, however it's not update-able because that would break the code that makes it a CFW. A Pasta emuNAND is only really useful (update-wise) for 4.x users who don't want to update their sysnand, and people...

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

Not sure on the "Database does not exist" one, but on the matter of the CIA icon disappearing in SysNAND and Pasta is most likely from installing an out-of-region CIA, as Pasta does not have region free at the moment. As a side note, when you go into your software management menu, it should...

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

From what the paste says, it looks similar to what was done for the GBA conversion. Patch the system service, then generate a DSiWare title with the proper footer out of an NDS file.

ROM Hack [Release] AGB_FIRM Signature Patcher + GBA ROM Converter

Check the OP. You have a newer AGB_FIRM installed and need to uninstall it first.

Hacking [RELEASE] Pasta CFW without Cubic Ninja - MSET (4.x old3ds)

Its small because its a really simple program. When you look at it, its set up like this; ROP FirmLaunchHax Pasta offset patch Return to SysNAND.

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

I flashed a bad BIOS update on a FoxConn board once. Ended up using an odd method of recovering it. Put the older BIOS update on a flash drive, then shorted two pins on the BIOS chip with a screwdriver while booting the PC to make it force update the BIOS software. Not sure if something similar...

Hacking [RELEASE] Pasta CFW without Cubic Ninja - MSET (4.x old3ds)

No, because you need to launch the Cubic Ninja CIA, which you can't do outside of PASTA.

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

Throw me a copy of whatever you're doing and I'll test it out on my N3DS while messing around with MSET on my O3DS.

Haha, the insults. You must feel big thinking you know something everyone else doesn't, when in fact, you're just a troll. Please, keep up the profane and negative language, I'm sure everyone appreciates it. By the way, the MSET port. It's a bit further along than you think. I've personally...

Hacking [RELEASE] Pasta CFW without Cubic Ninja - MSET (4.x old3ds)

According to a paste by ShinyQuagsire, GW loads their payload from 0x48000, after the old MSET/Spider ROPs. Not sure if it's of any help, but if it means what I think it does, someone could pull the code from the latest GW launcher and plop it into the Pasta MSET (with the other version specific...

Hacking [RELEASE] Pasta CFW without Cubic Ninja - MSET (4.x old3ds)

MM3D only has an EU legit CIA. There was no US one. So, in order to play MM3D via legit CIA on your US console, you gotta do some finaggling with your emuNAND to change it's region. My current setup is 4.x PastaCFW, rxTools US -> EU 9.7 emuNAND and a 9.2 NAND dump I swap to when I feel like...

Hacking [RELEASE] Pasta CFW without Cubic Ninja - MSET (4.x old3ds)

Nop90 has been working on porting it to various sysNAND versions. AFAIK his current task is 7x, then moving on to 9.x. Turns out porting the code from 4.x wasn't as easy as changing a few values, and I'm assuming that it's due to the ROP chain needing to be changed between sysNAND versions...

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

Anyone on 9.2 mind trying this? Move the CFW Loader.bin file to the root of your SD card, rename it to "code.bin", and then go to loadcode.projectpokemon.org using the web browser. Pretty sure it won't do much, but it's worth a try.

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

It didn't "brick" consoles in the term that everyone's used to. It only broke DS mode, making you do a system restore to get anything DS related working.

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

NinjaSpider is complete for the most part, but nobody feels like gathering the required resources to compile it. You can find the source for it via Yifan_Lu's website. For those of you who don't know what it even is, it's a port of the Homebrew Channel to load directly through the web browser...

Hacking Pasta CFW - A CFW that allows unsigned CIA to be installed on Old and New 3DS! (required ninjhax)

No. Each system version >6.x requires a specific ROP handle in the launcher to be used with MSET. This is completely separate from the offsets used in Pasta itself for patching sig checks for each version.
