Are you going to post the solution? What did you do that worked?

    Hacking 2 PS4s 1 on 1.75 and 1 on 4.06.... Safe to update to 4.55?

Jailbreaking means breaking out of the established "jail"(restricted to only running signed code and application) and being able to run unsigned code. So...jailbreak. Anyways, go ahead and update.

    Hacking Stay on FW 4.55?

He's partially right- Qwerty HAS broken 4.55, and stated he may release when he discovers a second exploit, which according to Hydrogen already exists. I wonder if exploits will be released for lower firmwares...

    Hacking Stay on FW 4.55?

I'm still wondering this too, I'm on 3.11 but since the exploits were discovered on 4.55 I want to update so I can download some games.

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

As I've said I'd like to redeem some game codes, which will require the latest firmware in order to activate and download them.

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

But besides speculation there's nothing that suggests they will or won't, right? So far it's looking like the best option is to update to the latest firmware, since there's a kernel exploit and a webkit exploit that exists.

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

Have the hackers shown any intention to sell the hacks? And should I, in that case, update to the latest firmware (4.55) so I can get my games? They've said 4.55 has a kernel exploit.

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

I said it's not JUST about them. There has to be a better option for me than "Just buy another console".

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

As I said I haven't touched the PS4 for a year, and don't have PS Plus, so it was already "Useless". I only became interested when the PS4 humble bundle came out, and that's when I found out I can't download the games. So it's not as ridiculous of a scenario as you say, and your suggestion for...

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

So... over the last few days some stuff's been found for more recent PS4 firmware, though of course nothing's public yet. I guess I should stay on my firmware? Will the 4.x exploits work on 3.11? I'd ideally like to update to the latest firmware since I want to redeem some game codes, but only...

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

Alrighty, I guess I'll hold off on updating until something concrete is released, then find the .PUP for the proper firmware and update to that. Thanks for the tips!

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

Unfortunately I can't update to 4.0, I'm only offered 4.55. I guess I'll hold off in hope that someone will release something.

Hacking I'm on firmware 3.11, recommendations?

I just started up my ps4 after more than a year of not touching it, and I see that there a few exploits for 4.x, but I don't see very much for my version, 3.11. I can download 4.55. What should I do if I want access to homebrew and whatnot?

Hacking Hyrule Warriors wants to update data. Safe?

That's what I'm thinking as well; I'm not entirely sure if it's even a system update, might be a game update.

Hacking Hyrule Warriors wants to update data. Safe?

When I try to boot up Hyrule Warriors, a screen pops up saying "installing update to system memory". I haven't let it complete the update, and it gives me an option to cancel. If I tap "cancel", I receive the message "return to Wii U Menu. The game cannot be started until the software is...

Hacking Wii U Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

There's a place to ask this, in the Piracy discussion. Yes, it's possible with an IOSU exploit which may happen sometime. If you want to ask anything else about it I'd suggest you do it there. I'm turning into TotalInsanity. Ugh.

Hacking Wii U Hacking & Homebrew Discussion

If you're right, that means there's more incentive to making an IOSU exploit other than piracy. EDIT: You are right, IOSU exploit does have other uses. Good.
