    First, thanks for your replies. It is a slim version. Why would it recognize an original MS hd of 250GB and not a third party, Seagate 300 GB hd? Can i use this hd in a MS xbox 360 case

    My son just bought SW Battlefield II but it would not play due to lack of memory. I bought an additional SeaGate 300GB ext HD, but it still won't play leaving a message I need to use an official Microsoft xbox HD and leaving a very disappointed 10 yr old. Everyone I asked said it should work...
