I bricked my console by deleting CTR-N-HMME and CTR-N-HCSE. Is there a way that I can install them back with GodMode9 or some other B9S payload? (I downloaded CIAs for them with UpdateCDN).
vWii only gives the game as much resources as, well, a Wii. If we can port Dolphin to the Wii U, we can utilize its features such as improved graphics and speed as well as GamePad and Wii U Pro Controller support.
I got this idea from Devolution, which runs GC games in Wii mode on Wii consoles.
Hey guys, I'm having a problem using CleanRip to rip a game. Hopefully you can help me solve this problem.
Basic notes:
I have the latest vWii and Wii U system firmware, and the latest stable CleanRip.
The game is Bit.Trip Complete.
I'm trying to rip to a 32GB SDHC card.
I have to manually...
There's a way to use the GamePad to control the computer through Wi-Fi, but that's not exactly a mod or hack. The GamePad doesn't transmit data through the cable, so it can't be paired that way.
Unfortunately, until we can softmod the Wii U, we can't modify vWii to use the GamePad.
Since somebody likes the full names... :3
+1 to Bit.Trip Presents... Runner2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien
It's at the bloody top of Metacritic's Wii U game rankings. Come on people.
I was under the impression that the System Menu is the underlying architecture of the Wii OS, and so modifying it (through cIOS) would make the changes work on the entire system. But, I'm the farthest you can get from an expert on hacking.
Did we get it working on vWii yet?
No.
Note: This topic is present in 4 forums to raise awareness, and to make sure that anybody who can contribute information knows how.
Since there's a lot of interest in getting this backwards-compatible through hacking, I figured I'd make a thread...

Counting my blessings that my insurance hasn't caused me really any headache (yet, at least) despite the fact that I've been getting way more appointments and what not recently due
But any desktop OS, I've never had anything but frustration trying to get Bluetooth devices to work reliably and stable. It might pair and connect once, and then next time I go to use it I have to delete and re-pair it again
Even my Xbox One controller I have it paired to my desktop over Bluetooth, it USUALLY works but sometimes it refuses to connect and I have to delete and re-pair it. Maddening
