Hello. Sorry to disappoint, but I don't plan on doing that. My intention for these patches was specifically to make the text and the graphics consistent with the Japanese audio. I simply don't see a point in having it any other way and don't wanna put in the work to make an optional version that...
I like the work you're doing and wanted to contribute in some way, but I'm not a programmer, so I tried to draw an icon for your app. Please use it if you want.
Are you able to flash the game completely? If yes, your cartridge is probably already supported.
You have to SRAM-patch the ROM before flashing for it to work (use the tool called GBATA to patch any games that use a save type other than SRAM; you can look up what saving method a game uses on...
Hey, I don't know if you found a solution or whether you still need it or not, but I was looking for the exact same thing and I think I found an answer.
You will need an NDS homebrew program called "GBA ExpLoader" (also created by Rudolph).
When you start it, it'll give you an error about...
Thanks for your answer! Any idea what do I need to modify to test this? I can see that "W" solder point on second board is bridged, should I try to unbridge it?
And what about boards 1 and 3?
arm9.bin's contents were compressed in the original game. We had to bypass the compression and leave it uncompressed for the NDS undub. But this content in the port's executable is probably compressed as it was in the original, so you won't be able to simply find the names there, you will have...
The names for the dialogue boxes are stored in the arm9.bin in the DS version. So, even knowing nothing about the PC port, I'd assume they're in the game's executable. But I may be wrong.
But if I'm right, it may be problematic to edit them due to copy protection, if there is any present...
I would have looked into it (without promising anything though, I'm not a pro hacker myself) but unfortunately I don't own a copy on Steam and have no spare money to buy one.
Hi raijin. I've just checked, and the patch works correctly for me. Are you sure you're using the correct Japanese ROM and applying the patch to the clean ROM, not to the previously patched one?
I have released a small update (v1.01) to the undub. It's not very significant, all it does is fixes a couple of cosmetic issues on Save/Load screens (see the attached pic).
I have also went ahead and added a Rockman Zero 3/4 extra bosses patch by @Prof. 9 based on a suggestion from...
I realize this is a VERY late reply (sorry, I didn't check this thread for a very long time), but yes, you can play the sidequests, all the text in the game is in fully working state.
Hi everyone.
There is a conversion of Chinese version of DW: Next Order to English, but I'm attempting to do the same thing to the Japanese version of the game.
I got it to work, and it seems to work fine so far (though I haven't tested it very far into the game yet), and fonts look much...
Nope, doesn't actually count here as well. It's a different case. Even though we are applying the patch to the Japanese ROM, this is only for purpose of not distributing the Japanese audio via the patch file, which is not allowed. The patch transforms the ROM into USA region, but leaves Japanese...
Hello again!
Following my undub of the first ZX game, I'm happy to present you the more-or-less same modification of ZX Advent.
Rockman ZX Advent was actually dubbed into English (which wasn't the case with the previous game, where they just removed all the voices). But many people see ZXA's...
It's not the movies or games downloads that I would worry about, like breaking into networks, downloading encrypted things, spying on network traffic. I have seen so many "Top Secret" seals on files when I was a kid
I was obsessed with finding UFOs, a surprising amount of US files where stashed on computers in other countries, China back in the early 90s omg sooo much
