Like I mentioned though, I doubt the 3DS XL cradle is really THAT different the 3DS one aside from size. I ordered it so it should arrive sometime next week, then I will show you what it looks like for clarification! XD- HalMotley

It was a standard 3DS cradle, video is here. I doubt Nintendo would have done a super, super redesign on it. I mean it appears to be a huge chunk of plastic for £13.00! I bought it anyway so I'll see it a few days after the 24th August when Amazon starts shipping the damn things.- HalMotley

But I bought Krylon Fusion for Plastic to avoid sanding. I think I will try it first and see what happens, but thanks for providing me with a plan B option though! :-)- HalMotley

I agree as well, but if it fails then I will be going back to the drawing board. Apparently though Krylon Fusion for Plastic is good for the Nintendo DS sprays though.- HalMotley

Okay, I did check my Krylon Fusion for Plastic spraycan and the label did indeed say that Toluene was one of the ingredients used. However, this is plastic-orientated spray paint so I am hoping that upon discovery of this there is negligible effect. I did a quick Google search with keywords...- HalMotley

Thanks for your endorsement! Unless you buy the white colour in Japan, the whole device with the exception of 2 plates (which are silver, red or blue) is a matte black colour due to the plastic chosen. According to the official Acekard news feed there was 13 days between the news posting and the patch release. Good thing I use the Acekard 2i as a backup card, I am looking forward to getting a SuperCard DSTWO when I can afford it!- HalMotley

Ah I get it now you were respraying a Game Boy Advance SP. I would assume that the matte finish and plastic used was similar to that on the 3DS XL, so a can of Krylon Fusion for Plastic and an alcohol cloth would work fine. At least that's what I am counting on when I respray the thing, but...- HalMotley
