So Lakka can recognize both FAT32 and ext4 partitions but Switch Horizon OS only recognize the FAT32 partition.
If I set all paths for saves/roms/ect to the FAT32 partition could I theoretically resize the ext4 to a small portion of the SD card and use the FAT32 partition for normal use outside...
Thanks, I tried what you suggested but I'm not having any luck. It looks like these sort of cheats will just have to be out of my reach for now. Do you happen to know anyone that might be up to taking suggestions for searching for cheats?
Hello,
I've been messing around with the Gateway cheat support and so far so good. I have a few questions related to it though which I can't seem to find answers for. Firstly I cant seem to find the timer variable in Smash Bros, I'm trying to freeze Smash Run's timer so it's not stuck as 5...
Hi I have a 3DS with a couple of CIA's installed on the system menu, what is the best way of getting rid of them without either a system restore or a bricked console? I backed up the NAND just in case anything goes wrong.
I'm having fun with the Mewtwo custom moves glitch, more fun then actually playing the game glitchless. I know it's only a matter of time before an update comes out that fixes this glitch but I would be heartbroken to turn on my Wii U and find that the glitch is gone.
Will the game update...
Sorry I was in a rush when I wrote that.
The User tab is the save data for all the games you have on your system as if they would be if you simply had them saved on a cartage. For example, if you had Smash Bros 4 installed on the system then it appear in the list (as a 5 digit code). Ones that...
User is the save files attached to the game itself, say like a cartage save, Ext I believe is data attached from the game that goes on the SD card (even if it's a cartage game) and SD is the data you import to the CIA (which is inside a folder called "filler" on your SD card)
Well from what happened with MK7 it appears that the data gathered for download play is just the same data from the main partition of the ROM.
It looks like a few NES virtual console games like Ice Climber and Balloon Fight have a download play feature. If it works the same way as MK7 then...
1) Created a CIA file with MKGirlism's "DS Figure-8 Circuit Beta 0.2".
2) Imported the CIA into my Gateway enabled 3DS.
3) Stated the game and gone into local multiplayer.
4) Created a group.
5) On my nephew's 3DS I selected the Download Play app and had it searched for the game
6) Have it...
I noticed something peculiar about the 3DS Download Play application. Namely that I can get modded MK7 tracks though to my nephews 3DS despite it having the latest firmware.
This have got me interested in seeing if it's possible to send 3DS homebrew packets in form as data from modded games...
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong but I think the actual Cubic Ninja exploit by itself has not been patched. It's just the other exploits that alongside it that gives it access to arm and code execution that has been patched by Nintendo. As for the finding more exploitable games for older...
As annoying as it is, effort is a limited resource. The 2 modders creating this MrBean35000vr and Chadderz have moved onto other projects, abandoning this for the time being to work on Mario Kart 8 and Mario Kart Wii hacking. I'm pretty sure this is on the back of their minds because I have a...
Hi my nephew recently updated one of my 3DS's to the latest firmware. I have a backup of the NAND and a raspberry pi computer but I have no idea about soldering and the process of downgrading the system. Is there a walk-though video tutorial to performing this or is there anyone I can send my...
I feel like school, back when I was actually in school, was more entertaining though, because of how much I get to interact with people, hang out with friends, and other stuff like that. All I get to talk to at work is my boring coworkers lol
