I agree with OP. I mostly play exclusives on my PS4 and by now the vast majority of former PS4 exclusives from 5.05 have gotten PC ports and the ones that haven't are at any decent local library. I mean, I guess it comes down to what you want your PS4 for, but if you have a half decent PC it's...
I mean is it fair to include the OS in the cost? Microsoft doesn't pay a fee since they developed their OS in-house. You could also argue that Linux is a valid OS and it's free so.
it should be interesting if this changes how "hobby hackers" (people not in it for the money) release their work. I know the mentality right now is "save it for as many firmware versions as possible" but if the bug bounty program starts to take off I don't know if that will be viable anymore.

On the one hand, the lack of good launch titles (zelda being the exception) is a little disappointing. On the other, it really doesn't look like we'll see a repeat of the wii u. Seems like plenty of developers ARE developing games for the switch so I don't think we'll have to worry about that...
sea of thieves is being developed by rare and actually looks like it could be quite a gem. There's not much in the way of gameplay details out on it yet but what is out is interesting.
I'm kinda shocked that things like civ 6, xcom 2, and Tyranny have so few votes. I mean I know gbatemp is predominately console oriented but I'm still surprised it's to this extent.
btw i feel this a good time to remind you guys that sea of thieves was made by rare, who also made DKC1-3 and DK64, alongside banjo kazooie and conker's bad fur day
