    Yes, you can. Most common usbloaders, namely gx, wiiflow and cfg, sapport lots of file systems: WBFS, FAT, NTFS, EXT2 and EXT3. Actually d2x is file system indepedent thanks to frag list, at least for disc-based games. Nand emulation is something different and only FAT is supported.

    Ok I've just looked into IOS code and they completely removed /dev/flash device from any recent ios. So the approach proposed by megazig is definitely the clean way to proceed. With AHB rights PPC can write to the NAND hw registers which are documented here...

    @JoostinOnline The patches you're talking about are in /dev/fs and are required to bypass file access rigths. The pathes the OP is talking about are in /dev/flash and are for reading raw data from nand, filesystem is not involved at all.

    @RenegadeRampage That's really weird. If you can successfully launch the wm+ video and come back to the game menu after wathing the video then d2x reload is working perfectly.

    Since d2x v6 there's no need to select player.dol manually because cIOS reload is fully supported and the video should start automatically if you've never watched it before on that console.     @Maxternal I don't think it's a matter of base. @GolfDude Yes, it is technically possible but I have no plans to implement this feature. @driverdis Real wii has only 2 usb ports but its controller supports up to 4.
