Hacking Jap Wii + WiiKey => AnyRegionChanger - 4.1U = Retail wont work

So yeah, as the title states.. I got a Japanese wii, one of the first, with a mod chip in it. I can only assume that this modchip is a wiikey, or something like that since it's one of the first wiis and there wasn't much options back then. I've been asked to change the system menu to an English...

I use the gamecube controller but want to get the classic pro and try it with that. All in all the controls are nice and tight. You can remap the buttons in any way you want also.

    Hacking ssbb

Or just burn the ISO on a normal dvd, it will play fine, just some of the cinematics will not be available, causing the game to crash. If you've beaten the game and just want the disk for friendly matches or what ever, then you should be fine with just the 1st layer. I think the 2nd layer just...

Hacking Having problems with games freezing?

Tried practically everything. There's nothing to fix my problem, I suppose some hard drives just aren't meant for this sorta thing. I got a new 1tb hard drive since, used the same enclosure, everything works fine. Thanks for the info though, surely there will be others luckier than me.

Hacking Having problems with games freezing?

Thanks for the fast reply, all help is always appreciated. I've tried all kinds of combinations with SSBB. I've tried the dual layer version ripped from the wii, a single layer version ripped from the wii as well as the dual layer version loaded though my PC. And the naruto game was originally...

    Hacking Games freezing

Same problem as you. When running games, they all(or at least most of them) seem to freeze at one point. I use CoverFloader for my games, but I've also tried the original 1.5 loader and I got exactly the same results. I'm using cIOS rev13b. I really have no clue as to what I should do. Any...

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
