Long story short, I have a xbox v1.0 with tsop xecuter2 bios (512mb cause I used a switch for dual boot) & I just fixed it.
I want to install emustation on it. For now I have a 250 gig hdd but I want to put a bigger ssd later.
The big question is, should I flash my bios for a better one ? Will...
I don't compare the wii with my pc. Maybe I don't expect enough from the wii to notice . But the emulators on the wii that I installed many years ago still run fine for me.
I'm a technician , I fix copiers/printers . Soldering is easy for me.
But with the xbox I did not need to solder (as long as I remember) only the switch for the bios switching
auto
but àlot of software & pluging the hdd power in the xbox while pluging the hdd ide in the pc .... A lot of fun ;)
If I remember , there is an ID that you need to have if you change the hdd or mb for piracy protection.
So if it's not modded & you can't boot it ... I think it's dead.
Sorry for my bad english.
Is it softmoded or hardmoded ?
My old xbox had 2 bios loaded on the same chip (first model) when I softmoded it
I had a switch in the back for original/softmoded
is there a way to download ps3 in iso format , or to convert them after ?
If I install the .pkg , can I create a iso from the folder in the ps3 with multiman after ?
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
