has the dios mios led blinking been made into an option yet? or does it still require a recompile to disable?
yup that's correct
actually took me a little while to figure that one out the other day :)
Haven't posted here in a long while but I noticed something rather odd the other day on my wii. I was deleting some old channels with AnyTitleDeleter 1.1, and I happened to look through the section for game saves as well. And there I noticed that the save for New Super Mario Bros Wii, unlike all...
I seem to remember when everyone and their mother claimed loading gc backup discs through softmod was impossible...
That said, no. And you shouldn't expect it to happen either, as no one has seemed to care about developing cmios or anything related to gc loading for ages.
I have a few trifling feature requests for your consideration:
-Could the loader be made to start out sitting on whatever game one last played? I mean rather than always starting out on whatever game comes first alphabetically.
-Instead of loading cover data from the first game to the last...

1. no you don't
2. you don't need hermes's cios (222), but some people recommend it for better compatibility
3. wiiflow is standalone... as far as I know, all the usb loaders are
No, absolutely not. You shouldn't need to mess with IOS60 at all.
Your system menu itself uses IOS60. Delete it and bad things will happen. Just install the proper system menu wad, run nandclean once more if you wish, and reinstall preloader.
Yeah I don't see how the USB Loader makes cioscorp 'obsolete'. Blank DVDs are cheaper than an external HDD the last time I checked.
Also, I for one had no problem installing bootmii on a system with cioscorp. /shrug
You need to go install Wiigator's cMIOS. If you have cioscorp, just run 'miospatcher' and be sure to hit X in the installer so that you can launch them directly from the disc channel.
You can go into the settings with a gc controller and set it to boot directly to the system menu yes.
Odd that the remote isn't working through. Once you are able to, I'd try reinstalling.
Starfall will give you brick recovery only if: a) you keep the twilight hack on your wii or b) have the ability to run autoboot discs (whether it be via a modchip or cioscorp). Preloader will allow you to access the HBC regardless.
For the purposes of brick protection, either will work really...
