Gaming Zelda HD screen flickering in certain scenes via HDMI

Wondering if you guys have run into the same problem as I. My Wii U is connected via HDMI to my Denon 3310 AVR then HDMI to my Panny plasma. On certain scenes in Zelda HD where there's some flickering items, mostly flames/torches, the entire screen will seem to lose sync. Once the scene...

    Gaming Pikmin 3

Surprisingly, I didn't see a Pikmin 3 thread. I'm about 10 days in. I screwed up and didn't strategize properly so some parts took longer than expected. In a few areas, there's what appears to be a triangular cardboard box, almost like a ramp. It's up high so I tried throwing the yellow...

Gaming ACNL: Multiple users on same cartridge

My kids and I share the same game cart. My big question is if there's an easy way to pass items from one 'save file' to another. We can do objects by dropping them on the ground but it doesn't work for things like the shark. There doesn't seem to be a 'community' locker that we all share, or...

Hardware Wiimote paired with both Wii and Wii U or just Wii U?

I was reading my Wii U setup guide and it mentions pairing the Wiimotes with the Wii U. Will the same Wiimotes still work w/ my Wii w/o pairing? I'd hate to have to re-pair the Wiimotes if I want to play the Wii. And yes, I prefer to keep both consoles in my home theatre for other reasons.

Gaming Transferring hacked Wii to Wii U

I have a hacked Wii (that works great) now and also a new Wii U. I want to do the following: 1) Do the minimum required transfer to the Wii U so that I can use it w/ the same account. 2) I don't care at all where my purchased Wiiware and VC content exists. If it's moved to the Wii U...

Hardware Do I need to backup when sending 3DS for repair?

I'm sending in my 3DS for hinge repair. I've been using an Acekard 2i successfully. A few questions: 1) I'm already backing up my SD card just in case. Do I need to send that in w/ the 3DS or can I keep it just in case? 2) Is there anything on the 3DS memory itself that would indicate...

Hacking Acekard 2i with latest 3DS f/w update?

I tried to download the new Resident Evil demo today on my 3DS. It's asking for a system update even though I'm at 3.0.0-5u. Everything works so I don't want to mess it up. Anyone with an Acekard 2i do an update yet?

Hacking New update for Netflix today?

Curious of the addition of Netflix today requires an update and if that update hinders any flashcarts.

Hacking Can I update to 3.4 from 3.3u with HBC working and not brick?

I now have an NTSC Wii with 3.3u and Wiikey 1.9g. I got the HBC working a few weeks ago before the latest 3.4 update came out. I now want to play Animal Crossing but it asks for an update. If I update, will I have any issues w/ normal operation? I understand there's a new Twilight Hack but...

  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
why do i feel the sudden urge to start singing pirate's scorn from the donkey kong country cartoon?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Are you being for real, cause that's hard to believe, DK is Nintendo and made in japan, Sea of thieves was from Microsoft, in America. I'm not calling you a liar, just didn't know.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ok yes they were both made by Rare, but DK was from Rare back then, Rare now is owned by MS. So makes since.
