    honestly, if they can detect it enough to disable PSN access, I'd be more worried about being banned outright. as it is, you should be able to install the normal 3.55 via Recovery Mode

    It updates on Wednesday for Europe/Mideast. He's posting from the US, hence the American flag under his avatar, and we get updates on Tuesday. To answer the question though, the last PSN update of the year was the one right before Xmas. Should update next week again as per usual.
