Ok, I have successfully dumped some gamecube games, but when I burn them the banner shows up but when I press the start button on the disk channel it just freezes on a black screen. I have a Wiikey, and the files are all the right size. I dont know what is wrong.
I figured it out and got it to work. All of you're instructions seem right, but did you remember to use the second palette on tpl_conv. That could help.
I dont think ot would be that hard as the only things that would need to be done are Rerouting the saves to the wiis internal memory, rerouting file loading to a rom inside the wad,and adding guides, banners etc. I think it is very possible.
I was just wondering, if it is possible to have the VBA that is already out setup to emulate the virtual console emulators. This would make GBA and GBC games playable. Also if VBA was reconfigured so that it would run only one rom, we would have what would appear to be a GBA/C Virtual console...
I was just wondering with the development of the Wii64 would it not possible for that to be programmed to play one rom, simulating the VC emulator. I think we will have a less of a wait for that. I know the wad structure would be different but I think it is more probable than Nintendo releasing...
Yes I got a tip from Jayparadox saying that no sound is caused by a bad IMET header. Could someone get on this. Also I have the same question about the save game image.
I can confirm that this method works. I just got a new banner working this morning. I imagine that the icon and the savegame images are simular, so hacked versions of those should work. Unless they arent lzss compressed ( I haven't looked at them, but I think the process is the same)
Damn jack must've came loose outside over all the weather and a tech can't come out until the 11th I need to look into a device that's usb Hotspot that can leach from a phone
