Homebrew Tutorial SDUSB - The modern way to play Wii U games from SD - at full speed

I load my Gamecube games this way. I open Nintendont and it prompts you to load your game ISOs either from FAT32 USB or internal SD card. The path should look like this : SD:\games\Sonic_Adventure_2\game.iso (yes the actual game file should be called "game.iso"). They work flawlessly with gamepad.

Homebrew Tutorial SDUSB - The modern way to play Wii U games from SD - at full speed

Hi. Did you try to launch Nintendont and load gamecube isos from SD card FAT32 partition? Without converting them to injectable format. They're copied into "game" directory. They work with gamepad too.

Homebrew Tutorial SDUSB - The modern way to play Wii U games from SD - at full speed

I've ordered a 512GB SD card. Having everything packed inside the WiiU SD card is perfect. May I ask please: did anyone notice any speed improvement over USB? is it slightly faster? or the same? or a bit slower? Thanks

Homebrew Tutorial SDUSB - The modern way to play Wii U games from SD - at full speed

For Windows users, you can use either of these excellent free tools to partition SD cards: - EASEUS partition master or - Aomei partition manager 1st partition should be FAT32, 2nd partition : NTFS (without drive letter)

Can we run Wii games with Gamepad from SD card?

Thank you @Jayinem, that's what I remember. So the only way now to control Wii game using Gamepad is to run them from USB, using teconmoon's injection tool.

Can we run Wii games with Gamepad from SD card?

Hi. I didn't follow the WiiU scene lately. I remember there was a tool to convert Wii ISO/WBFS to WiiU installable format and run them with Gamepad from USB storage (not all Wii games are compatible though). Is there some new method to run Wii games from SD card, and using Gamepad? Thanks

Homebrew Tutorial SDUSB - The modern way to play Wii U games from SD - at full speed

Wow very interesting advancement! However, I never thought WiiU could reach full 25 MB/s reading speed from SD card. I always thought it only supported early Class10 SD cards (Loadiine is the culprit)

Gaming Ryū ga Gotoku HD 1&2 Yakuza English Translation

Maybe one could start by inspecting Wii U game files. - Run FTPiiU - Using FTP client, browse for game directory (check game title key) - See if any file could be replaced. Check if game works. I am interested too... but I didn't bother since most probably those files are encrypted or unknown...

Thanks. Strongly agree. I compressed and encrypted folders to .rar files (with a strong password) before uploading. Just to be safe.

Thank you. More information from: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/dropbox-wannabe-terabox-promising-1tb-free-storage-very-martin/ But I don't mind as long as they're just media files to be backup-ed (for free!). "TeraBox Achieves 50M Global Downloads – BUT BUYER BEWARE Errm – who is TeraBox...

I can't complain. In fact I'm very happy with Terabox. Just I hope the host is reliable and sustainable. There is always a risk it goes out of business some day... but I think Terabox will be a successful business.
