Gaming How do I dump (and later re-insert) the save file of Pokemon Emerald?

I tried using Mr. Rudolph's GBA Backup tool, but all I got was a "card not found!" error no matter what I did (reformat the SD card, get a faster card, use a different flashcard, use a different DS system).
