Yea, I was trying to downgrade my 3DS- I came back to it later and noticed that the screens had gone dark even thought the 3DS power was still on. I powered it off and on again and there was no change...

Is there a solution to this?

If the screens don't even bother turning on, safe mode probably is bricked too. Dead screens of death is usually due to bad NATIVE_FIRM partitions.

Also try removing your sd card and then powering on, it could be menuhax causing the issue.

I think you have a full brick =/
If you have a nand backup, get it hardmodded.

You might of bricked your 3DS so buy a new one if it's not able to be fixed.
