I just love the idea of blocking ads and still being able to support your favourite websites. I also love the extra security features built in, and the simplicity. It's just too bad there's not many extensions and no themes for it.
It certainly seems like it has a lot to offer from the getgo, but I quite like my customized Firefox profile with adblockers and the like (With appropriate whitelists for cool sites), is there anything unique that Brave brings to the table? (Besides having the same stuff except baked in)
As stated in the FAQ, it should be faster than a customised FireFox, and I totally believe that. It feels extremely snappy, and doesn't use much RAM. I wouldn't recommend to switch if you like customisability, though. Something I did see, and that I didn't really see in FireFox (or I need better glasses) is that it can fully isolate sites, preventing malware from leaking onto the system.
If I am wrong, though, the main argument is definitely about speed, community support (from what I've seen, support is incredibly nice and responsive), and the ability to still help out websites without ads.
i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.
I have a few of those boat anchors in my basement I tried giving away but no one wanted them, So anyone close to Columbus, Ohio area that wants them, (26", 2x 19") please come get, for free.
Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
