I loved ordinary differential equations. Except the year after, I couldn't cope with partial differential equations - I couldn't visualise the problem anymore. That's when I dropped out of doing a BSc in physics/maths and started computer science instead. It was a shame because I loved optics.
I remember dealing a little bit with optics in physics 2. It was alright but not my cup of tea. I do love physics however. Out of all the sciences, it's probably my favorite. Do you think you will go back to get the BSc?
