No, not at all. Sure, it may be superior to 8 in some areas, but 7 is still great. Windows 10 is malware/spyware/adware as an Operating System, and forces people using 7/8 to upgrade to Windows 8 with classic shell.

I find that windows 10 is a lot like 7 but with the looks of 7 and 8 combined. It's not that bad. As for the "malware/spyware/adware" thing, if you have pro it's not a problem as you can disable all of that telemetry stuff through regestry and things like spybot antibeacon

You just don't seem to realise the fact that it uses around 1 million ways to track everything about you, and I don't get it when Windows 10 users keep defending Microsoft when they are pretty much forcing you into installing an OS, where they earn money from your data. They even killed support for some CPUs, so people have to upgrade and they can harvest as much of that sweet, sweet data.

I'm not saying it's a good practice on Micro$oft's part, but the OS itself i find to be quite alright for everything i need out of it. I've never really like Micro$oft as a company, but Windows is good for what I need

Most of the stuff is on Windows 7, DX12 is really the only problem, but that is rarely used anyways.

I mainly upgraded just because I wanted to keep getting security updates, but if Windows 7 would still get supported I'd have stayed there. 7 is still my favorite. Also 10 will be good when or if DX12 becomes more popular. If i could have it my way I would have a windows 7 with DX12 and update support

That's the thing, they are using their 'Windows 10 = Better Support' ways to try to make Windows 10 the most used, so they can harvest as much data as possible. You can still get neat security updates, and Windows 7 has still got a while to live. There is no reason to use Windows 10 at this point, unless you are working in a server or something similar.

At this point I'd prefer to stay, because it provides me with everything 7 did and I dont want to go through the hassle of setting everything up again. I dont like how they take some data, but I just dont really mind anymore, it doesn't really harm me directly so I say they can have it if they can get to it. I see your reasoning though, Micro$oft is a shady company and if things were different I'd stay away from them
