Why? Anytime I start Super Mario 64 I can't stop coming back to the game in the next few days until 120 Stars (150 for the DS version).

I'm not sure really, every time I think about Hazy Maze Cave it just makes me want to stop playing even though it's not that bad of a level and I'm very easily distracted anyways.

100% feel you on that. I only finally beat it with the 3D all stars collection, but only got 70 stars and forced through to completion. Hazy Maze is mad annoying level too, that and the Boo mansion

Hazy Maze Cave (Level 6) is pretty annoying – at least the 100 coins star. Never had a problem with the Boo level – one of my favorites.

man my last playthrough was to get 70 stars in as little worlds as possible. Why did I choose hazy maze. THe 100 coin with those damned eyeballs on those platforms were terrorizing me

You can skip HMC if you do enough of the other levels- there’s a total of 15 stages, and 7 stars per stage as well as 15 secret stars in the game. That means you can skip a few levels entirely if you get enough secret stars- and just 100% your favorite stages
