Hacking Maidump and Vitamin questions

Hi there im trying to backup one of my own games but it is a 3.63 game.

I been told that is possible to back it up but im bee trying and it does not seem to be possible

So is there a step by step guide ? for both Vitamin and Maidump.

If i use Vitamin i get a error when i tries to open up the game and Maidump refuses to do anything.

Im using a Vitatv on 3.60 for this

If it's a 3.63 game it isn't possible atm. If a dump of that game exists then because there're versions of the games that need only 3.60 (some games released in the US need a FW >3.60 while the slightly earlier released JP version only needed 3.60 [and maybe then where translated with the help of english text from versions of the game from other consoles/PC, one example for that would be the Steins;Gate Zero dump] e.g.)

yea but a while back a dump a game demo that was 3.63 fine

No one released a tool that is able to dump 3.63 games.
For that you either need a kernel hack/HENkaku on 3.63 or the encryption keys for 3.63 games.
Nothing like that was published. And no evidence for the existence of either showed up until now.

Ok so it was a fluke them ? cuz i open what i dump and it was the demo i think il wait for someone else opinion on this as other people tell me they can be backup just not play

Games that require 3.61+ cannot be backed up, restored, played or anything on 3.60. As mentioned, we don't have the encryption keys for 3.61+, we can't do anything with them period. Anyone who claims they have is lying, or mistaken that whatever it is needs 3.61+

U can dump 3.63 games with maidump and u can install it then, but u can't play it.

No, you can't. Maidump and Vitamin decrypt the games while dumping them. Games that require 3.61 use a different encryption key than we have access to on 3.60. We can't decrypt a game that we don't have the key to.

Let change things here to another issue Maidump refuses to work for me i try to dump a game that should be fine and it wont do it
it goes to party and stays there

NVM i was able to dump the 3.63 game so yes it is possible to dump not play

The eboot. Which is the executable was not dumped. All you got is a couple of models and pictures and such, but not the actual instructions for the CPU. This is something you could have done with VitaShell as well. That is not a complete dump of the game. It just dosn't works this way.
At the beginning maidumps came in two parts. The hard to get part is what you not have and the easy part that is this large in filesize thing you got as 'dump' now (the easy to get part is only easy due to the fact that HENkaku already did all the work)

You will never be able to play that, because it dosn't contains the whole game.

good because i did not want to play it i wanted the models and the sprites music ect and i got them
