Make a backup of your romfs folder then put all of the randomized folders into the romfs so they all overlap with others. Then, run RomfsBuilder.exe on the romfs builder and name the output the last 8 digits of the rom id (I'll look up and edit in a sec what that name is).romfs and place it in the hans folder ON THE ROOT OF THE SD CARD
NOT IN THE 3DS FOLDER.
After that, run homebrew, select Hans, select conquest, tick yes on the replace romfs option, and start the game through that menu. Then you're golden!

Edit: Name the output from RomFS builder 00179600.romfs

Confrontation over!

The INVALID message is that you don't have a 00179600.romfs file in your sd:/hans/ folder.

Hi, I tried to randomize the game two times, one on Conquest only and the other all paths; in the first game I crashed at the end of chapter 3 (i tried again and still crashed), in the second game I crashed at the end of Conquest Chapter 6 (again, tried multiple times); deleting the scripts doesn't work (but I didn't delete the rest), so I'm reporting this and asking how can I fix this
edit: I'm with NTR selector selecting the 3,4 version, luma+a9lh, european 3ds and digital Fates Special Edition
edit2: deleted the map script and the dispos along the rest on the list on the chapter 6 save, still crashing :/

Thanks a lot for the work!

Yes, I have tested it multiple times
Ah, then I have a question, as whenever I launch the game, I choose the .romfs file that was made throughout the duration of these steps, and the screen freezes on the launch menu. Any advice on what to do here? Thanks either way.

Alright I'm positive this is the last question so I moved the Hans folder onto the root of the sd and put the romfs in the hans folder but when I run homebrew it no longer shows up but I put it back in the folder and it starts up hans because it's back but it says the file is invalid all over again what do I do now?

You're supposed to have two hans folders. The romfs goes to the hans folder on the root of your SD card. The second hans folder belongs in the 3ds folder and holds the .3dsx and whatever needed to use it in the Homebrew Launcher.

I don't use HANS I use NTR, but if i had to guess, version of homebrew you are using isn't on the latest version. (previously this PASLR thing prevent games like Fates from working with homebrew if they were digital.) If it still doesn't work then, I'd wait for more responses, it's also possible that the file just got corrupted somehow.

Ahh, I see. I'll have to get NTR then because I'm too impatient lol. Thank you for the help :)

No. If you don't have a hans folder in the root of your SD card, make one. The only file you should have in the hans folder on the root of your SD card is the .romfs file. :/ GCNMatt's instructions even told you to place it in the hans folder on the root of your SD card.

Ok not sure I worded it correctly I have only one version of hans folder in the 3ds folder and that hans folder has all kinds of stuff but i'm not sure do I copy the hans folder and take out everything from the copy and put that in the root of the sd them put the romfs solely in that one would that work?
